RWBY Cosplay

I've done a lot of RWBY cosplay in my time! It's a show I absolutely adore, filled with amazing and diverse characters. This is the post dump for all my cos and the RWBY adjacent things I've worked on. At some point it might evolve into a RoosterTeeth post, but this is good for now.

My very first gal was the Yellow in RWBY Yang Xiao Long herself. Her spunky attitude and powerful combat style from the Yellow Trailer got me hooked. The more time I spend with her the more I love her. Her Season 1 outfit was the first time I really felt proud of a costume I made. I had pretty much no experience with making armor and her gauntlets taught me a lot and really spurred me into prop making.

Season 2! Neapolitan the enigmatic shorty. She has a stunning personality and a rad character design. I don't have many pictures of her, but I loved this costume. I wore here for Katsucon 2014.

Season 3! and Winter Schnee is on the scene. I started working on this cos when the season 3 trailer dropped. I spent a lot of time freeze framing to pick out as many details as I could. Winter was this strong lady with this white aesthetic that I was entranced by. I got a lot of the details wrong when I wore this for AUSA 2015, so I ended up remaking her a couple times but I still love her.

So Season 4 came out and I fell back in love with my original gal. Only this time Yang got a major upgrade. I showed her off at Katsucon 2017, but didn't get many pictures of her sadly.
